Learn how to play

The game is pretty straightforward; however, it can be quite overwhelming for new players at the beginning. This page is dedicated to providing you with guidelines and tips on how to build a character capable of navigating through the initial locations, as well as strategies for farming items and gold. You will need plenty of both if you aim to reach the endgame. For additional game hints, refer to the Game Hints section.

Tutorial

The tutorial in the Jewel RPG Game is invaluable for beginners, offering rewards upon completion of each scene. It serves as a crucial starting point, teaching essential game principles and mechanics.

Playing the Tutorial at the beginning of the game is worthwhile. You can replay the Tutorial anytime you want at any stage of the game using the Tutorial button from various scenes.

Additionally, you’ll receive a special reward if you finish all tutorial scenes. Therefore, the first tip is definitely to start the Tutorial early and complete all Tutorial scenes.

Relax Jewels Game

Relax Jewels Game allows you to play the Jewels Game without the pressure of completing objectives within a limited number of moves. To access this mode, you’ll use keys.Relax Key Jewel RPG Game

In Relax Jewels Game, you have the opportunity to collect various rewards such as Random Armors, Wheel of Fortunes, Jewels Spells, Unique and Legendary Items, Lives, Exp Potions, Relax Keys, and even acquire and level up the King’s Crown. The King’s Crown significantly boosts your skills in the early stages of the game; aim to chain 7 jewels in one move to become the proud owner.

When you begin a Jewel RPG Game, you’ll have one Relax Key available. Another tip: after completing the tutorial, engage in a Relax Jewels Game. Initially, you’ll level up quite quickly and gather a bunch of unique items (or possibly legendary ones if you’re lucky). Equipping them will give you a significant advantage against the first enemies, guaranteeing success.

In this mode, you can claim items immediately after they drop. If there’s no available swap, you can reshuffle the board without any penalties. Lives aren’t lost, and you can leave and return to the Relax Game at any time.

Only unique and legendary items drop in this game mode.

The game ends when you collect all items in the available unlocked slots. Using the Jewels Luck spell ensures a quicker completion of the Relax mode Game, as it causes only unique and legendary items to drop while the luck spell is active.

Hard and Super Hard Locations

The hard locations are identified with red markers, such as the location border on the map scene or a red frame around enemies in the fight scene. The super hard locations are marked in purple, while the easy ones have green identifiers.

Enemies in Hard Locations are slightly more challenging to defeat than those in easy locations. They block your fireball spell and are at a higher level than you’d typically encounter in green locations at the same stage of the game. However, with sufficient level and well-equipped items, it is manageable.

The enemies in Super Hard Locations are significantly tougher, primarily because they use a slow spell on you, granting them 2 consecutive turns. In the early stages of the game, you’ll need to be sufficiently leveled (with ample Life, Mana, and Damage output) and rely on a bit of luck (as enemies may miss or inflict lower damage). As the game progresses, a slow spell coupled with King’s Items will prove to be invaluable.

Defeating a super hard enemy for the first time guarantees a drop of a legendary rarity item. This method stands as the fastest way to farm experience, items, and gold, especially when combined with King’s Coin, King’s Diamond, and Exp Potion.

Quests

During your journey, you will come across blue locations that signify side quests. The Livien people will seek your assistance and offer various rewards in return. Additionally, upon completing a side quest, the NPC will teach you a new skill.

Among the rewards is a star that boosts your Life pool by a juicy +100. As you collect more stars, you’ll acquire or level the King’s star, significantly increasing your Vitality.

If you find yourself unable to solve a side quest, don’t despair. At the end of a map round, a seer location will appear, and the seer sells solutions for the side quests.

You will not progress far in this game without completing side quests. It’s crucial to have a high Life pool, and learning skills from NPCs is also very useful. Invest your time and gold in doing so.

Items

Items come in four rarities: regular, magical, unique, and legendary, the latter being the most valuable ones. Items can be equipped, sold, or added to the armor collection. They also have levels; if the item level is higher than your level, you can’t equip it.

From the start, pay attention to the animal assigned to items. An animal represents the skill added when you complete a set in the corresponding armor collection. For example, a lion adds strength.

Equipping items is essential for progressing in the game. Don’t strictly equip your character only with legendary items; a unique item might have attributes that suit your needs better at times.

The most powerful items can be found in shops – the non-droppable items. You will recognize them by a crown.Shop Crown Jewel RPG Game

The shop items reset every level, so make sure to revisit shops regularly. The crown items (non-droppable) will reset in shops only if you buy them. On a side note, the shop is a place to buy healing and mana potions, as well as jewel spells.

Armor Collection

During your journey, you’ll receive many items as rewards. You have the option to either sell an item or add it to your armor collection. An armor collection is identified by rarity and animal. Each armor set comprises eight item types: sword, helmet, shield, breastplate, ring, amulet, pants, and boots. By gathering all armor types with specific rarity and animal combinations, you can redeem an armor set. The rewards are magnificent, so it’s advisable to prioritise adding an item to your armor collection rather than selling it, you will anyway receive gold for an item, when you add it to collection.

You’ll recognize that an item fits into the collection when the letter representing the animal pulses green. When it pulses orange, the respective collection is complete, and you can redeem it. You can add items in bulk by using the ‘Add All to Armor Collection’ button on the character screen or individually by tapping the pulsing animal from the item detail view.

Each new level you reach, shop items reset. Visit the shops regurarly to see, whether unique and magical items fit to your collection.

The Armor Collection has its own level. Redeeming more collections increases your level, raising the chance of rolling a legendary Random Armor token. This token adds a random piece of armor to your incomplete collection, with its rarity determined by the wheel of fortune. Thus, the higher your level, the quicker your progress in the armor collection level. Additionally, every fifth level grants a special reward.

Saddlebag

Purchasing a saddlebag is essential for completing achievements that require equipping an entire set of specific items, such as the magical items of the Lion or non-droppable legendary shop items. Without it, you will struggle with your inventory space. Purchase a saddlebag early to avoid the headache of sorting items.

If you have tough luck finding a specific item to complete the equipping achievement, you can use the ‘choose item’ reward to create the specific item you’re missing for your collection.

Dice Game

At every shop location, you can play a dice game by placing a gold bet. Winning the game rewards you with a chest, skill, gold, or a legendary item. You can choose one of two available dice games: Blackjack or 4-5-6!

Blackjack Dice is played similarly to the traditional card game, but instead of cards, it involves dice. The objective remains the same: achieve a score of 21 points to instantly win the game or have more points than the opponent by scoring less than 21 points. If you score more than 21 points, you lose.

In the 4-5-6! game, the chances of winning can be considered 50/50 at the beginning of each game. The game consists of 3 rounds, and each round allows a player one dice roll. Scoring 1-2-3 results in an instant loss, while scoring 4-5-6 leads to an instant win. If 2 or 3 dice have the same value, you score points. If neither an instant win nor an instant loss occurs before the end of round 3, the player with more points wins, unless it’s a draw, in which case your stake is returned.

In summary, if you prefer a 50/50 chance, opt for the 4-5-6! game. Otherwise, if you enjoy a bit more risk, Blackjack is your choice. There’s a lot to win, but also a lot to lose, so gamble wisely!

King's Items

King’s Items are the most powerful items in the game. Acquiring and leveling them will take time and effort, but it’s absolutely worth it. There are 6 King Items in the game, and you can equip only one King Item at a time. However, if you manage to acquire all King’s Items, you will receive a Queen’s Trophy, allowing you to equip 3 King’s Items simultaneously.

King’s Crown: You can acquire the King’s Crown quite early in the game by chaining 7 jewels in one move in one of the Jewels Games. The best tactic is to play in Relax Jewels Game mode and use a Swap Spell to position the jewels according to your needs. Equipping King’s Crown early gives you a significant advantage against your enemies in the early stages of the game.

King’s Star: You will be rewarded with a King’s Star by completing at least 10 side quests. If you cannot find solutions to side quests, you can buy them at a seer. But don’t despair; you will get a King’s Star even if you don’t fulfill some side quests—completing any 10 is enough. King’s Star provides a massive boost to your Vitality.

King’s Coin: King’s Coin is linked to Arena fights; defeat all Arena enemies and receive a King’s Coin. It multiplies the gold rewards in the Fight Game and decreases the regeneration time of your Lives, which is very useful!

King’s Cube: Similar to the King’s Star, you acquire the King’s Cube by winning a Dice Game in at least 9 shops. King’s Cube is useful for its Critical Hit chance and Armor Class boosts, particularly useful is the enhanced healing potion effect.

King’s Stone: You acquire and level the King’s Stone every time you complete the main quest. You will benefit from King’s Stone abilities when you discover that from the second map onwards, a coin flip decides who starts in a fight. It also provides a huge bonus to Fireball and Buff Spells.

King’s Diamond: King’s Diamond is linked to achievements. You need to complete at least 30 achievements to collect a King’s Diamond. It has several useful features and is considered a must-have when equipped at the endgame.

Overall, we found the best combination for heavy fights to be King’s Star, King’s Cube, and King’s Diamond. If you face enemies that you are confident to beat, go with King’s Coin, King’s Diamond, or Star and King’s Stone. You can experiment with different combinations of King’s Items yourselves!

Skills

In total, you have 10 skills in this game: 4 base skills – Strength, Dexterity, Magic, and Vitality, and 6 spell skills – Fireball, Luck, Reflect, Poison, Buff, and Slow. The value of each skill determines its power or effect. Let’s review them one by one.

Strength: The higher the Strength, the more damage you inflict with your weapon.

Dexterity: Higher Dexterity provides a better chance to hit the enemy and increases the likelihood of a Critical Hit.

Magic: Increases your Mana pool. Additionally, every 5 points of Magic add +1 to all your spell skills.

Vitality: Each point added to Vitality increases your Life pool by +5 points.

Fireball: The value of the Fireball skill directly impacts the Fireball spell’s damage.

Luck: The Luck spell directly impacts three aspects: chance to hit the enemy, weapon damage, and Fireball damage.

Reflect: Increases your Armor Class and reflects part of the damage back to the enemy.

Poison: This spell causes damage over time to an enemy each round, and the damage depends on the Poison skill value.

Buff: Increases each base stat (Strength, Dexterity, Magic, Vitality) by +2 times the Buff skill level.

Slow: Increasing the Slow skill leads to the slow effect lasting for 2 rounds (a cap). Further increases grant higher gold rewards in the Fight Game.

Overall tip: When leveling up, consider primarily investing distribution points into Strength and Vitality, and Dexterity at the beginning of the game. Later, it’s based on your preference. Higher levels grant more distribution points for allocation. The higher the Armor Class, the less damage is inflicted upon you from the enemy.

Maps

The badges on top of the map screen just below the buttons bar indicate, that there is not just one map in the game to complete. Once you complete the first map, you will be able to swap between the maps by tapping the respective badge button. It is very useful, if you didn’t manage to complete all side quests, arena wins or Dice Game wins.

Achievements

During your gameplay, you’ll fulfill various achievements, totaling 60 challenges prepared to test you. Not only do they offer numerous rewards, but you’ll also need to complete achievements to acquire a King’s Diamond.

You’ll receive notifications when an achievement is completed. Remember, an achievement isn’t considered complete until you claim its reward.

Journal

The Journal is a tool where you can track several aspects of the game and also access useful shortcuts.

It is divided into three sections: Story, Bestiary, and Side Quests.

The Story section simply summarizes the story revealed so far.

The Bestiary contains information about all enemies you have encountered in the game. You can initiate a fight with a monster directly from the Bestiary, providing useful shortcuts, especially by completing the side quests where you have to find specific types of enemies.

The Side Quest section tracks your progress with side quests on the map round, where you are currently active. If you are lost, a location button will guide you to where the NPC for that side quest is located.
